Dawn Joy Larson

Dawn Joy (Peterson) Larson, age 74 was born in Minneapolis, MN. She had raised her children in Coon Rapids, then moved to Spring Lake Park and then lived over 20 years in Shoreview, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband David, daughter Tammy, two great grandchildren Leo David Verke and Cora Marlene Verke, and two siblings Marion Goette and Robert Peterson. Surviving are her children: Arlan Larson, and Teri (David) Berthiaume; granddaughters: Jessica (Owen) Verke, Emily, Leah, Ashley, and Andrea; and her sister Evy Krenz; and many treasured nieces and nephews that she had loved dearly. Dawn loved the holidays to spend time with her family, and the residents that she came very close with at Ecumen Prairie Lodge in Brooklyn Center, (Julie, John, Roger) where she had resided for almost 4 years. She enjoyed books with word search puzzles and her Fishdom game, she also loved watching her favorite tv shows, especially the food network and hallmark channel. She worked many years at Jay’s Pizza in Spring Lake Park, and then a spent several years working for Fingerhut. A celebration of her life will be held later this summer and burial will be at Sebeka Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest at her family’s plot. Dawn had a heart of gold and she will be TRULY missed by many! God Bless you mom, until we see you again. We will always love you!

Teri, I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss!! I remember all the fun times I had at your house driving your parents crazy!!! 😜 some of my BEST childhood memories were with you and your family! You are in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
