Denise Marie Utoft

Denise was born on March 2, 1955, to Lester and Delores Knott at the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Denise spent her youth growing up on Oliver Street of Minneapolis where she attended Penn Elementary, Jordan Junior High and Patrick Henry High School.

After graduating from high school, she attended Hennepin Technical College where she received her associate's degree in graphic design. She raised 4 children in Ramsey, Minnesota.

Denise was a great artist and painter, was an experienced botanist, loved being outside basking in the sun, going on vacations, taking walks and spending time with her family and friends near any body of water.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Utoft; Father, Lester Knott; and Mother, Delores Knott.

Denise is survived by her 4 children, Anthony (Tania) Heimer, Angela (Ian) Walsh, Jeremy (Beth) Heimer, Matthew (Kayla) Utoft; 9 grandchildren, Cullen, Kelly, Lydia, Jordan, Maylin, Connor, Rylan, Carson, and Harlow; Siblings, Leslie Knott, Rodney (Karen) Knott, and Beth Feverston.

Denise leaves behind a brokenhearted, supportive group of relatives, including; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends and coworkers.

A service will be held at Saint Stephens Catholic church located at 525 Jackson Street, Anoka, MN on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

10am visitation, mass service at 11am followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Greenhaven golf course banquet hall at 2800 Greenhaven Road, Anoka, MN.
