June 14, 1992 – October 14, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Vasquez, who left us on October 14, 2026, at the age of 34. Born in Long Beach, California, Dennis was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend whose intelligence, kindness, and vibrant personality touched so many lives.
Dennis was incredibly smart, ambitious, and naturally gifted at figuring things out. His love for solving puzzles as a child grew into building computers and eventually a career as a network engineer. When Dennis set his mind to something, he always found a way to make it happen.
Above all, Dennis had a heart of gold. He loved helping others, made friends wherever he went, and had a loud, infectious laugh that could light up a room. He knew how to find joy in life and brought warmth, humor, and positive energy to those around him.
Dennis loved planting, volleyball, reading, singing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed concerts, comedy shows, fairs, movie premieres, and visiting breweries. A true foodie and coffee lover, he enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, and sharing good food with family and friends. He embraced life’s experiences and found happiness in the little things.
Dennis’s greatest joy was being a father. His daughter, Lily, was his whole heart, and being her dad meant everything to him. At just 10 months old, she had already begun calling him “Dada,” a precious memory that will forever be cherished. As Lily grows, may she always know how deeply her father loved her and how much happiness she brought into his life. His love for her will always be part of his legacy.
Dennis deeply loved his family, including his mother, Maria Vasquez; his siblings, Carolina Eggert, Yessica Romero, and Carlos Romero; his brother-in-law, Scott Eggert; and his three nieces, Arabella, Bridgett, and Riley Eggert. He will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Dennis will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. His laughter, his generous heart, and his love for his daughter and family will live on in all who knew him.
Forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Dennis.
