Donna Ione Halsted

She was a wife and mother. As a young mother she showed her creativity by sewing clothes for her children.

During her lifetime she worked in retail and different office positions of these she enjoyed working with blue prints and delivering them to the proper departments. Retail was also a favorite job she enjoyed being on the go and working with people. Secretarial was least favorite of all she hated sitting still movement was her middle name.

In her second life she took up ceramics and painting where her creativity was brought out for all to see.

In the last quarter of life she turned her creativity to crocheting and sewing quilt tops for the church she had joined. She made quilts for herself as well as Christmas quilts as gifts for each of her children.

She brightened the lives of numerous people and most recently those who were residents and workers at the assisted living residence. She lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor.

She will be missed by family and friends.
