Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, David; parents, Carl and Helen; brother, Bobby (Sandra); sister, Alice.

Elayne will be deeply missed by her children, Lisa Hart (Mike), Julie (Dave) Silkett, Susie (Shawn) Andersen, Jeanne (Andy) Andersen; grandchildren, Jonny, Katrina, Kayla (Robert), Kristi, Andrew; great grandchildren, Sophie, Robert, Hazel, Lilly, Aria, Lincoln, Harley; brothers, Daniel,Tom (Eileen); sister Judy (Jerry); brother in law, Lester; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elayne was an amazing woman. She always made everyone feel welcome and like they were the most important person every time they would visit. She knew what everyone’s favorite meals and desserts were and you would never leave with an empty stomach. She loved her long talks (just to talk in general) and she would always have many laughs and jokes to share. Her favorite thing was to get big hugs from all the kids that visited. Elayne used to travel to Yuma Arizona for the winters, and loved going to Alaska for long visits to go sightseeing and to see the family. She would spend a lot of time in the summer up at Jesse Lake visiting everyone and just relaxing. Family was always the most important part of her life, she was the glue who held everyone together, not only her immediate family but the extended family and friends too. She was a Rock to so many people and loved to talk and give her opinion (whether you wanted it or not). Elayne will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Jesse Lake Lutheran Church, 45834 County Rd 4, Talmoon MN 56637 with visitation one hour prior to service. Luncheon will follow the service.

We will also have a gathering to celebrate Elayne at her home on June 7, 2025 at 2:00. 11348 N Heights Drive, Coon Rapids MN 55433.
