Gene,
I cannot believe this is real. I truly cannot. 

To Gene's kids,
He talked about you all everyday and those grandchildren. We would talk for about an hour a day and he showed me so many pictures of the new grand baby and his other grandchildren. He talked about how much it meant to him to see them often. He also talked about how proud he was of his son and his accomplishments, he even shared that if he won the lottery he would donate so much to the "facility" you went to that turned you into a great man.  He was so proud of his family, you all made him so happy :(

I am all so sorry for this loss, truly I am. 

I only worked with Gene for a short time at Modern Tool.  He was such a gentleman. Very kind and always made sure to say hello to me each morning I would walk to the shop floor.  My deepest sympathy and prayers to all his family and friends.. I am sure he will be missed. R.I.P.

I will love & miss you greatly!!!
I will always remember your warm smile, your teasing nature, your extreme calm in emergencies, & especially the loving Birthday & Christmas cards you sent me over the years.

I have not lost only you as a brother but as one of my best friends, my confidante.  At times your voice, your actions/gestures  were a reminder of Dad and ONLY YOU
could have that ... you kept him near.  I can see you at his card table now and him calling you Black Bart again.  I will miss the bantering back and forth text messages, the joking around and the sincere conversations on the phone, text and in person.  I will miss our occasional Chinese lunches/dinners when we told stories of the past.  I will miss the love and support you have given me many times when I’ve needed it most.  I will miss you telling me how you knew so much more than me and that you were so smart “because you were my big brother”.  I ache for my loss but also for Sarah and Jason and their families.  They were your life... they were lucky as were you. Thank you for the last hug just two days before you were called home.  I will feel that forever.  I love you and am missing  you but  know that we we will meet again.  Thank you for being YOU and for being my “smarter and ALL knowing big brother “😇💔
