George D. Abernathy Jr.

Age 79 of St. Francis, died peacefully at home with his loving family on 5/31/15.

Preceded in death by Great-grandson, Jase Abernathy; Parents, George and Mae Abernathy and Brother, Roland “Jiggs” Abernathy.

Survived by loving Wife of 60 years, Frances; Children, Linda (Mike), Mike (Kaye), Kathy (John), Jennifer (Frank), Roberta (Joe), Meg (Dewey), Sabrina (Doug), Shane, George (Trish) and Denise (Don); Grandchildren, Brian, Matt, Tina, Nick, Shannon, Samantha, Rachel, Sara, Alicia, Jared, Josh, Jessica, Caitlin, Alyssa, Trevor, Madison, Courtni and Brooke; Great-grandchildren, Keaton, Eddie, Lauryn, Abby and Serenity; Sister, Liz (Virgil) Carlson; many Nieces and Nephews.

George was a member of the Teamsters, Knights of Columbus and a long time employee of Kemps Ice Cream..
