Jana Lee Rewey Huffman

Jana will be deeply missed by her husband of 7 years Bill Huffman; children, Carter, Grady and Warren Huffman; parents Bob and Patricia Rewey; brother Jeremy Rewey (Taelynn Wade); nieces Olivia and Ava Rewey; parents-in-law Dennis and Kathleen Huffman; sister-in-law Susan Huffman; aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

As per her Instagram label: "Kayakjana was a kayaker, hiker, camper, angler, mother, wife." She also enjoyed shooting and horseback riding. She spent 2 summers as camp counselor at Circle R Horse Ranch in Long Prairie...then as a horse wrangler for the Y the summer she graduated. She attended Anoka Senior High School where she excelled. Jana participated in state competitions on the Debate and Speech teams. As a result of that Jana gave a year-end commencement speech for the graduating class of 1999 in front of thousands at Goodrich Football Field.

Jana then completed a BA in Marketing and an MBA in International Marketing at the University of North Dakota. At UND she participated in the Management Club and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority where she served as Vice President of Development.

After graduating college in 2005, Jana pursued a successful career in marketing… first in New Jersey, on to New York and later in Minnesota. Her career included a short period where she was an Adjunct Marketing Professor for the University of North Dakota. In 2019 Jana began her own marketing company - Double Blaze Marketing LLC. In recent years she maintained dual positions as the Director of Brand Marketing at the REVO Brand Group and as the founding Marketing Director of the Foxhole Bingo Lounge.

Jana went camping, hiking, and fishing as often as she could. She particularly enjoyed visiting various family cabins and state parks in the USA. Temperance River State Park on the North Shore of MN was her favorite.

Jana was a caring Aunt to her two nieces, an attentive and generous mother to her three stepsons, an affectionate sister, a loving daughter, and a devoted wife to her husband. Jana made friends everywhere she went and was always the life of the party. She will be remembered by her loved ones for her boisterous laugh and her big heart. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by countless friends and family members across the world.

The visitation for Jana will be held Sunday July 20, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home 552 East River Road, Anoka, MN 55303.

The funeral service will be held Monday July 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

A reception will be after the funeral on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Greenhaven Golf Club, 2800 Greenhaven Road, Anoka, MN 55303. The buffet will start at 3:15 PM with a cash bar.
