Jerrine Lynn Brightman

July 10, 1966 – August 25, 2024
Obituary of Jerrine Lynn Brightman
IN THE CARE OF

Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home

Jerrine Lynn Brightman, aged 58, of Saint Francis, MN passed away on the morning of August 25th 2024 after a battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 on her friend’s property at 4745 241st Ave NW, Saint Francis, MN 55070 – a place which held special meaning for her.

There will be a gathering time with food from 12-4 pm, with music and a celebration of Jerrine's memory starting at 6:00 pm.

To know Jerrine was to love her. She was a bright light in darkness, and brought fun and laughter (and games) to any space she entered.

A cosmetologist by trade and a joy to every client lucky enough to sit in her chair, Jerrine embodied so much more. She was a gypsy, a little hippy, a giver, a wanderer and an explorer of all things life has to offer. She could carry a beautiful balance of crazy and calm like no other. She was a lover of music and dance, and all things creepy. More importantly, Jerrine was a mother and friend. She had more people that loved her than one person deserved, and to us, she was more than we deserved.

Jerrine is survived by her two sons, Andrew Brightman and Ross Brightman; her partner Tom “Fish Head” Peluf; her sister Terre Packham (Lee Janisch); and countless others. The world lost one of the good ones, but her soul and memory lives on in all those she touched.

Some have reached out to ask how they can help during this time - There will be a donation box at the Celebration of Life to help pay for final expenses. Know that your kindness is appreciated during this difficult time.
