Joan was proud to be a nurse for most of her life - caring for patients in the ICU and CCU at Midway Hospital in St. Paul and St. John's Hospital in Maplewood. She loved visiting Leech Lake on her time off and taking many trips in the boat.
She is preceded in passing by her husband, Nicholas Weller; parents, Alvin and Ione Hanson.
Joan is survived by her children, Jennifer Weller and Anthony Weller (Kris Gladhill); grandchildren, Andrew Weller and Anna, Allie and Nick Lee; 1 great-granddaughter, Aurora; sisters, Ginny (Gary) Thompson, Deb (Dan) Kennison, Mary (Larry) Selton; best friends, Debbie Butler-Robinson and Cathy Fiebiger; and many other family members and friends.
Following Joan's wishes, no services will take place.
