She was preceded in passing by her parents Clifford and Amelia Mackey and her Grandson Jay Morris as well as her Great Granddaughter Emersyn Morris and Great Grandson Christopher D’Angelo.
Joyce is survived by her daughters Valerie Campbell (Roy), Ginny Morris and Tori Kyllonen (Cory). Grandchildren: Cory Morris, Kayla Thielman (Danny), Jessica D’Angelo (Ben), Craig Bronk, Kellie Fiegl (Jacob) and great-grandchildren Kaydin, Isabella and Archer.
Joyce was the oldest of ten siblings who are surviving as well as many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Joyce grew up in Kettle River, MN and Esko, MN. She raised her family in Duluth where she lived until moving to the Twin Cities to be closer to her daughters and her grandchildren. She finished her degree at University of Minnesota-Duluth after working for many years as a telephone operator at AT&T. Joyce loved reading, puzzle books, Scrabble, Upwords and spending time with her family. She is known for always having goofy things to say and making people laugh. While Joyce was not very mobile her last few years, she was happy, had a sharp mind, never complained and was loved everyone who knew her.
Celebration services for family and friends will be held on August 2, 2025, at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home, 552 East River Rd, Anoka. Visitation at 11 am, service at 12 pm, and luncheon to follow.
