Lost her battle with cancer on October 22, 2016

Preceded in death by her Parents, Elroy and Eveline Wendorf; Brother, Roger Wendorf; Brother-in-law, Erland Raduenz.

Survived by her Husband of 47 yrs. Ed Lanie; Son, Bill (Katie) Lanie; Grandson, Michael (Ashley) Martin-Lowers; Great-grandchildren, Rayden, Jayce; Brothers, Earl (Helen) Wendorf, Merlin (Eva) Wendorf, Virgil (Majel) Wendorf, Allen (Laura) Wendorf; Sister, Lois Raduenz; further survived by Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

Joyce was known as the “bear lady” for her collection of stuffed bear animals; she loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and camping.

Joyce was devoted to her faith; even through her battle with cancer her devotion to her faith remained strong. Joyce was a member of the LWML and served as Mt. Olive’s church secretary for 25 + years.
