Lee David Wiseman

Lee David Wiseman, age 42, died on October 18, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne. He is survived by wife, Jen Modjeska; mother, Margaret; brothers, Paul (Pamala), Roy, and sister Ann Plienis (Steve). Born April 27,1969 in New Richmond, Wisconsin. His family moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 1977. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, SD in 1987. Lee attended the University of South Dakota where he was an active member of the SAE fraternity and received a BS degree in Business Administration in 1992. He moved to the Seattle Washington area in 1994 and was currently employed at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Lee married Jen Modjeska of Raleigh, NC, April 27, 2007. Favorite pastimes included biking, mountaineering, and participating in Triathlon and 1/2 Ironman events. Lee adopted two Siberian Husky dogs, Kona and BoBo, and took them on his climbs whenever possible. Many of these adventures were shared with his friends via Facebook . Memorial Mass: 10:30 AM Friday, October 28th at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church (525 Jackson Street, Anoka MN 55303) with visitation one hour prior. Interment 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29th at Woodlawn Cemetery 2001 South Cliff Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. Fellowship to follow internment at Christ the King Catholic Church Community Center,1501 W 26th St. Sioux Falls, SD 57105. Memorials may be directed Lee’s Charity, Eastern Washington Siberian Husky Rescue, or a Charity of your choice.
