Lizzie Lanore Ottum

Lizzie (Lanore) married Kenneth Ottum in 1949 and raised a large family in Minneapolis, MN, later moving to Coon Rapids. In about 2018 Lizzie moved to Provo, Utah to spend her last days in the loving care of her youngest daughter, Robin and her family. Lizzie passed away peacefully in their home on May 7, 2025

She is survived by 7 of her 8 children. Karen (Dan) Hawes, Garry Ottum, Deborah (David) Mathias, Barbara (John) Westlund, Patricia (Richard) Ottum, Marsha (R.K.) Owen, Robin (Michael) Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth (1925-1992) and youngest, Tom Ottum, (1969-2015). She leaves 33 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren to grieve her loss.

She was a wonderful woman and friend and loved by many.

Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2742 Yellowstone Blvd, Anoka, MN, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids, MN.
