Taylor Allen Marshall

May 12, 1979 – April 11, 2026
Obituary of Taylor Allen Marshall
IN THE CARE OF

Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home

Taylor Allen Marshall, age 46, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2026. He was born on May 12, 1979, to Paul and Katherine Marshall.

Taylor’s greatest joy was his children. Bryna and Maddox were the light of his life, and he centered his world around them. A gentle-natured soul with a wonderful sense of humor, he brought ease and laughter to those around him. His deep love of pop culture, along with his remarkable knowledge of it, meant he always had the perfect, often hilarious, quote ready at a moment’s notice.

Music was a natural gift, paired with a love of performing, whether in theater, at the piano, or singing karaoke. His creativity and playfulness found many outlets, including his impressive Lego collection filled with incredible builds. His gracious spirit extended to all living things, making him a friend to every animal he met. With quiet optimism and kindness, he touched many lives and believed in life’s simple wonders. He held close the hopeful words of his favorite Muppet, Kermit the Frog: “Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers, and me.” Taylor will be remembered for his generosity, compassion, and warmth.

Taylor was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy John; grandparents, Romulus and Frances Lambert, and Thurlow and Beatrice Marshall.

He is survived by his beloved children, Bryna and Maddox; his former wife, Becky Marshall; his parents Paul and Katherine Marshall; his siblings, Tammy Quayle (Mark), Theresa Marshall (John Jacobs), Tracy Foster (Charlie), and Trevor Marshall (Andrea); and his nieces and nephews, Ophelia, Grace, Henry, Ellie, Lewis, Max, Kate, and Lucy.

A celebration of his life will be held this summer.
