I am sorry to hear about your father passing. I know it has been 4 years and I'm a little late, but just found this information. My deepest and sincere apologies for your loss. 

Just thought of Bill on his Daughtor's Birthday. He had the best hand writing. The last note that I got from him. Must of really worked on it hard as a child as he did everything else in his life.  Extremely legible, clear and pronounced. Just as his life demonstrated.  I am sure that he his celebrating his Daughtor's Birthday Today.  Happy Birthday Joyce.

There are so many memories I have of Grandpa. From celebrating our birthdays together, him teaching me to drive the Jeep in the pasture as a kid, to sitting around the kitchen table going over what needed to be done on the farm the next day, to going to breakfast at the Anoka Coffee Shop.  The memory I cherish the most is working with Grandpa every Saturday for years!  I loved every minute of it! In my mind, I didn't work "for" him, but "with" him!  He would sit in one office and I in the one across the entrance. We would talk about the weather, work and all the different things that we had going on that week. Even when we didn't have anything to say, it was comforting to look up and see him sitting there, leaning back in his chair with his hands linked behind his head, looking out the window. He was so content in his thoughts; so peaceful!  I learned so much from him, not just about work, but life overall.  I look up to him in a way that is indescribable and know that without his enduring love and guidance, I would not be who or where I am today! Thank you Grandpa! For everything you do, are and teach!  
Until we meet again, you will always be with me, lending a guiding hand!  I love you more than you will ever know!!

Sitting at the kitchen table Dad says to Jerry, "You've really filled out Schiminski" I said to Dad, "That's because he's happily married!" Dad leaned over, looked at me as said, "You must be ecstatic!"  We laughed til we cried!

I always related the red Pegasus to my dad as being a Mobil distributor. I would buy him wood ones, glass ones, whatever I could find. Upon his retirement I looked up the meaning of the Pegasus and each site found the words Strength, Wisdom and Stability. It dawned on me, those were the words I used to describe my dad. He was the strongest man I've ever known, when I needed advise, it was him I called, and he was our rock. Always there when we need him, always reliable, always right. So once again I would like to say, Daddy, thank you for being my Pegasus. You were an amazing father, friend and hero.

Please accept my sympathy to the loss of a great business leader.  Bill Egan was a great ambassdor of the Mobil brand making a huge impact in Minnesota.  I'll fondly remember the many business and life lessons he shared personally with me during countless breakfast meetings at Perkins.  His legacy continues to make an impact with many who knew him.

Very sorry for your loss.  Mr. Egan was a big inspiration for me during my three years in MN.  He welcomed me into his home and business and shared some amazing stories and knowledge with me.  I have always appreciated Mr. Egan for the great person first and then the great businessman.  Our prayers are with all of you.
