Brandie Michelle Sawyer, 48, of Apopka, FL., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 5, 1977, Brandie was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Norman Edward Sawyer and Deborah Lynn Sawyer; her children, Roderick Tyler Quick and Sienna Ryley Smith; and her siblings, Angela Dee Sawyer and Norman Jay Sawyer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
BRANDIE was truly one of a kind—a gentle, tender, and loving woman who showed kindness to everyone she encountered, even to those who were not always kind in return. Her beauty and brilliance made her an impeccable force to be reckoned with, yet she walked this earth with humility and grace. She lived a life of purpose, balancing her many roles as a devoted mother of two beautiful children, a loving daughter and sister, a business owner, and a treasured friend to all who knew her.
Connection was at the heart of who Brandie was. When she met someone, she cared deeply about their entire family. In business, she took the time to truly know her customers and suppliers, learning not only their names, but those of their spouses, children, grandchildren, and even their pets. No matter how busy she was, Brandie always made time to pause, listen, and connect. This gift of presence was one of her most defining qualities.
Her children were her greatest joy. Weekends were often spent making memories with her son—cheering him on at football games, enjoying amusement parks, or escaping to beachside hotel getaways. With her daughter, life was filled with special moments: pedicures, shopping trips, Starbucks cake pops, time spent with their beloved dog, Paris London, and an abundance of sparkle, laughter, and love.
Brandie’s faith was unwavering. Her fierce love for the Lord carried not only her, but her family and friends throughout her journey. Many were unaware of her battle with cancer, as she refused to allow the illness to define her or give power to fear. Cancer did not win—God simply chose to call her home.
Brandie leaves behind an everlasting imprint on this world and in the hearts of those who loved her. While words fall short in expressing the depth of sorrow felt in her absence, we take comfort in knowing she is now resting with her Savior and will forever remain our angel.
