Cheryl G. Axtell, a resident of Mount Dora, Fl. passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026. Born on November 7, 1953 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Delbert Lucas Griggs and Dolores Fulner. She is survived by her loving devoted husband Gerald Duayne Axtell Jr. and son Paul Perry Axtell and Michele Axtell Wong of Windermere, FL a granddaughter Lillian Grace Axtell, Andrea Axtell Stark of Hughesville, MD; and Gerald Duayne Axtell III of Columbia, MD; and her brother, Mark Griggs of Roanoke, TX. Services for Cheryl will be private and announced at a future date.
The Lord took her from us too soon, but now he can share this beautiful woman with the rest of the world.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
