Elizabeth Ann Breck

Elizabeth Ann Breck, 48, of Apopka, Florida passed away on August 4, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Liz was born on April 25, 1966 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Mary and Darrell Crummett. She graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in Iowa and later attended Iowa State University, graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Health Education. Liz and her husband Tom Breck enjoyed 28 years together, 22 of them in marriage. They have three sons, Taylor, Riley, and Chase. Liz was an avid runner and passionate about physical fitness. She owned and operated an award-winning restaurant in Apopka called The Garden on Park. Liz also had a distinguished career at Target for many years. Liz is survived by her husband, Tom Breck; her parents Mary and Darrell Crummett; her sons Taylor, Riley, and Chase; her brothers Daniel Crummett (Lucy) and Christopher Crummett; her sister Julie McBride (Sean); her niece Ashley; and her nephew Connor. A Celebration of Liz's life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 3:00pm at Apopka Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 750 Roger Williams Road, Apopka, Florida. In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Liz's passion for running and physical fitness, her family requests anyone who wishes to show their support to do so by signing up for a local race. Train for it, complete it, and once you've crossed the finish line, please send a postcard to Tom to let him know you've done such in continued celebration of Liz.
