Evelyn A Smith

Evelyn was born in the District of Higgin Town, St. Ann, Jamaica, relocating to New York in 1986 and finally Florida in 2003. She worked in the insurance industry for many years and in 2005 established her company, Jabez Service, an agency authorized to provide day habilitation service to developmentally disabled individuals in their homes.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Ripton Vickers, two sons -Kevin and Dameon, Daughter-in- law Ebony, five grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, a host of brethren, family members, friends and well-wishers.

Funeral service will be held at Faith Cathedral Deliverance Center, 4425 N. Powers Drive, Orlando, FL 32818 on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Rory Carey of Daytona Christian Center, Daytona, FL will be officiating.

Burial will take place on Saturday, April 25th, at 2.30 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens, 3229 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703.

The family will greet friends on April 24th at 7:00 p.m., at residence.
