Jimmy, a loving father and son, was known for his kind-hearted nature and selfless personality. He had a great sense of humor and a deep love for his family and friends. Despite being a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes about his compassion and care for others. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father Jim Blackwell, mother Sue Blackwell, sisters Yvonne Martin (Billy) and Sonya Wolfe, children Kristin, Abbi, Ella, Genna, Aiden, and Jasce, his grandchildren, Justin, and Andre as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jimmy pursued a career as a Long Haul Truck Driver and attended Lake Brantley High School. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, technology, antiquing, and collecting coins and stamps. He cherished moments spent with his children.
The family will receive guests at Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, FL, Saturday, April 20th at 10:00AM as they honor and remember Jimmy Blackwell. Trinity Baptist Church was a place where Jimmy found solace and community.
In memory of Jimmy, may his legacy of kindness and love live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
