John J. Ewen

John was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 29, 1936 to John E. and Margaret W. Ewen. He was a 1955 graduate of Edgewater High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960. After his service in the Navy, John worked for Martin Marietta in Orlando, FL and for various companies at the Kennedy Space Center for over 35 years.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years Christa E., son Kurt E. and his wife Jackie of Houston, TX, son Kevin E. and his wife Latricia of Apopka, FL and their two children - Erich B. of Apopka, FL, Meredith M. of Apopka FL and one brother James S. Ewen and his wife Barbara of Mineral Bluff, GA.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister Barbara H. Ewen.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, September 29 at the Apopka branch of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home at 601 N. Park Ave., Apopka, FL 32712.
