Mark was born in Wheelus Air Force Base, Tripoli, Libya on February 25, 1961, to Technical Sergeant Lenwood E. Dail, U.S. Air Force and Mrs. Lou Dail.
Mark’s adventurous, curious, and generous spirit was evident from an early age. He had a passion for nature and spent much of his time outdoors. He had an unyielding drive toward nature and conservancy, a trait shared by his beautiful daughter, Alana.
Those that visited Mark throughout the years got to enjoy spending time with Connie, his very large boa constrictor and beloved dogs.
Growing up, as a member of an Air Force family, Mark, his parents, and brothers traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe – along these journeys many special family memories were forged. Mark’s parents instilled in him a love for reading and learning. Mark was a teacher to many and will be remembered fondly for it.
Mark graduated from Apopka High School in 1979 and earned an Environmental Engineering Technology degree from Seminole Community College. Mark was an electrician by trade.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Alana Dail, his brothers, Gregory, Brian, and Ronald, and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Garrett, Cecilia, Adriana, and David.
