Uncle Paul, Oma , Linda Nancy and Susan early 1970’s  in the backyard of 99 Idlebrook Lane in Matawan. Uncle Paul planted those Christmas trees 🎄 behind us and helped Mom plan her rock garden. I would like to think I developed my love of the outdoors and gardening from Uncle Paul. It was great to have these photos of him,  he was usually the one always taking the pictures. 😊

Your Mom, Lorraine was an emotional harbor for Paul for all of his life and her welcome of him to Florida in 2016 gave him hope in his illness.

Bless the Behr women for being a major highlight of his youth and faithful visitors until his death. 

Paul now gets to share eternity with his love, his partner, Bruce Margolin whom Paul held in 2006 as he died. 

Rest peaceful in the Redwood forest Dear Man.

Uncle Paul and Sweetie, he loved dogs 💕

That was the happiest day of my life when I married my best friend Tom Hurd.  Uncle Paul came to celebrate with us at the wedding. on August 14, 1982 . I love this picture of me on my most special of days with my beautiful mother and her faithful brother in law.- Uncle Paul. So many wonderful memories.  He would come every Christmas after Daddy passed away. We would go get the Christmas tree and get it set up to decorate. I remember  he loved the movie “Dr. Zhivago”. I would sit on the couch next to him  and he would put the record of the soundtrack on and tell me the story as the music played. He was always there for us.  Another great memory was when he played “ store” with us  by taking cans and grocery items from the kitchen cabinets  and setting  them up on our toy box . When we would visit him in New York he would take us everywhere.  He was the best uncle a girl could ask for. You will be missed Uncle Paul. Praying we meet again on the other side.

Uncle Paul was my favorite uncle. He was 15 when I was  born. He would come every Thanksgiving, Christmas and Birthday to visit us. He was such a help to Mom after Daddy passed away.  When we visited Uncle Paul at Oma and Opa”s in New York City he took us everywhere… to all the museums, the zoo, the park, to all the famous places and to FAO Swartz toy store. He loved to travel and collect mementos. He loved to walk and swim. We love you and will miss you Uncle Paul. Rest In Peace.
