Sharon "Honey" Folks

Sharon Kay Folks (Snow) was born on March 05, 1957 , to Allen Snow and Erma Williams (Flint). She was the second sibling among four children, growing up alongside her 2 brothers, Terry Snow, Gary Snow (Karen), and sister Shelley Litton (Charles). She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah.

Sharon met the love of her life, John Folks, Jr. and they were married on April 16, 1975. Together they raised three daughters; Christina Ahrens, Angela Hall, and Danielle Folks.

Sharon served in the United States Airforce. She graduated from Hawaii Pacific College with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management in 1985. She did this all while working, attending school, and raising 3 young daughters at the time. She worked for Verizon for 25 years.

Above all her accomplishments, Sharon’s greatest pride and joy was her family. Sharon possessed a rare gift for making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and deeply loved unconditionally. Her lessons of empathy, resilience, and kindness will continue to guide her family through the years ahead. She brought laughter, light, and positivity into the room. She lived life with a unique spark, bold energy, and had a playful side to her.

Sharon passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026. Surrounded by her loving family. She was a warrior in her battle with AML Leukemia. Never letting go of her faith in the Lord. She wanted everyone to know; “ I prayed to God; he spoke to me directly and personally. Saying to me, in prayer: "My grace is sufficient for you, my daughter.”

She is survived by her Husband John Folks Jr, Daughters; Christina Ahrens, Angela Hall, and Danielle Folks, 8 Grand Children; Douglas Mann II (Alexandria), Jordan Hall, Dakota Hall, Andrew Ahrens, Christian Ahrens, Timmy Ahrens (Bayley), Michaela Hall, Saphire Ahrens, and 3 Great Grand Children Arya Mann, Lukas Ahrens, and Braxton Ahrens. As well as her precious chiweenie dog, Midnight. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Snow.

Thank you for the friendships you bring. The knock at the door. Hearing the telephone ring. Feeling the warmth of a loved one's voice. Touching our hearts to fully rejoice. Coming to share in all parts of life, thus strongly flows the whisper of love. Thank you, God, for everything. The wisp of a smile upon our loved one's face. Even the pain dropped tears that only you can trace. Lord, you bring joy filled hearts that overcome all sorrow. The joy and laughter are brought forth, thus giving us hope for tomorrow.
