The evening of June 9th, 2026, from Sanford, Florida, God called Virginia "Carroll " Potter home. She is preceded in death by her father Sherman, mother Augusta, and sisters Gay, Jean and Rose. She is survived by her husband Danny, brother Sherman "Buddy", and her children Lisa with Steve, Geoffrey with Kim and Dan. Grand children Justen with Angela, Kyle, Jessica and Geoffrey. Great grandchildren Presley and Addison. She spent the first portion of her adult life as an Army wife. Later marrying Danny to have more than 30 years together. She had a career as a Senior mail clerk for the Florida State Department of Corrections. She retired to spend more time with her family, have adventures with her husband and to grow her faith with her church, Southern Baptist of Sorrento. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, however, do not grieve for her. She is rejoicing pain free with her family that went before her and living forever in the glory of the Lord.
