

Vivian M. Trombly Bilow, age 96, of Apopka, Fl. passed away on 3/22/15. Vivian was born in 1919 in Ellenburg, New York. She was the first child of William and Verconda Peets Trombly. She is predeceased by her parents and siblings - Eldon, Armand, Ross, Lloyd Trombly and Madora Patnode. She has one surviving sister, Jean Ann Mainville, from Malone, NY.
Vivian graduated from Hairdressing School in 1940 and opened a beauty shop called ‘Miss Chateaugay Beauty Salon’. She married Gerald Bilow on July 4, 1940. They lived in Massena for several years when Gerald worked for Alcoa Aluminum Plant. In 1944 they purchased a farm in Westville, NY and she opened a beauty shop in their home. They had three children - Nancy, Sharron and Richard. She is predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Gerald (2-23-1978) and daughter Nancy Trombly (9-6-1990). She is survived by her daughter Sharron Rodriguez, son Richard his wife Mary, ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a strong woman of faith who loved her family and friends, and was generous with her time to help others.
Vivian was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After Gerald’s death she spent several years sharing time between NY and Florida finally moving to Florida full time to be near family. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She was called ’Mima’ by all that knew her. Her hobbies were gardening, sewing, knitting and
baking. She always had beautiful flowers growing around her home, and in New York she had a vegetable garden she planted each year. She loved fresh vegetables from the garden.
Vivian spent the last 10 years at Sunbelt Health & Rehab Center in Apopka, Florida. Her caretakers were very loving and made her feel like family. She will be missed by all.
