Adrienne "Red" Little, 66, passed away on August 13, 2025 in Thomasville, North Carolina. Born on December 7, 1958 in High Point, North Carolina. Adrienne brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.
Adrienne recently retired form a long and dedicated career as a data analyst with United Postal Service. Her work ethic and commitment were evident throughout her years of service, and she took pride in her role and the relationships she built along the way.
She was known by many as the life of the party - always ready with a kind word, an infectious laugh that could fill a room and advice that came whether you asked for it or not - but always from a place of love. Adrienne had a gift for telling people exactly what they needed to hear and doing so with warmth and humor. Her fierce love for her family and friends was unwavering; she was always ready to lend a hand or offer support whenever it was needed.
Adrienne is lovingly remembered by her children; son, Antrail McGill and daughters, Kimberly McGill and Eunika Little of High Point. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren - Andralius Culbreth, Aliyah Anthony, Alexia Brooks, Little L and Kentrail Anthony; her special nephew Savion Lindsey and sixteen great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of strength and joy.
She is also survived by her three sisters; Lashawnda Lindsey, Shalla Lindsey and Melissa Lindsey; her aunt Rhonda McGill; godmother Theresa Gannaway all of High Point; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Adrienne was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Lindsey; father, Willie Alston; step-father, Freddie Lindsey; sisters, Pamela McGill and Frenchie Alston; a brother, Willie Alston Jr. all of High Point.
To say Adrienne will be missed is an understatement. Her presence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. May those who loved her continue to carry her memory with them always - with laughter in their hearts and strength in their steps.
A celebration of Adrienne's life will be held on Saturday August 23, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Advantage Funeral Chapel in Archdale, North Carolina. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
