Alberta S. Groman

Greensboro, NC Mrs. Alberta S. Groman, 96, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Beacon Place. A native of Connecticut, Mrs. Groman loved to laugh, play golf, and enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Groman. Surviving are her daughter, Marna Rusher (Jim); a son, Dan Groman (Vickie); a granddaughter, Melissa Cobb (Jack); two great-granddaughters, Victoria Cobb (Vince) and Jackie Cobb (Victor); a great-grandson, Jackson Cobb and a great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Rodriguez. A Celebration of Mrs. Groman's life will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Cobb family residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any local animal shelter.
