

Mr. Tysinger was born in Randolph County on November 14, 1941 to Thomas and Flata Staley Tysinger. He was employed for many years with Tysinger and Associates in Insurance and Tax preparation services. Mr. Tysinger and his brother Jock built and operated Tysinger's Service Station in Worthville for many years. He was an avid Carolina Tar Heel Fan and was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Tysinger was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jock and Carrol Tysinger.
Surviving are his wife, Lavinia Freeman Tysinger of the home and three daughters; Dee Ann Vincent and husband Scott of Salisbury; Crystal Reed and husband Robert of Memphis, TN; and Rana Mercer of Randleman. Mr. Tysinger has one sister; Sharon Lambert and husband Timothy of Randleman and three grandchildren; Michael Clark, Savanah Reed, and Samuel Vincent. There are several nieces and nephews who also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in ARchdale by the Reverend Robert Hinson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service . Burial will be private at later date.
