Carolynn Joan Hawley

Sadly, our Momma Carolynn Joan Hawley, age 73, of Trinity, North Carolina passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Battling impending dementia, and other ailments, she has gone to be with the Lord and her immediate family in heaven.

Carolynn was born March 3, 1951, in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Fenton Anton Sr. and Elizabeth Sadie Isola Whitlow. She graduated from Amityville High School in New York and proceeded to further her education in Dentistry and Office Administration. She met her husband, Charles "Chubby" Lester Hawley and they were married in 1972 and resided in Ridgefield, CT.

Momma enjoyed tri-chem embroidery, singing on the church choir, and playing the acoustic guitar. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, Eddy Arnold and Englebert Humpberdinck. As of late, she attended Randolph County PACE program. Preceded in death are her husband of 20 plus years, Chubby Hawley, siblings; Elizabeth Kress and Fenton Whitlow Jr. and one grandson, Cody Mark Sickmiller.

Momma leaves behind her daughter, Beth Ann, her son, Michael Louis (Tabatha), five grandsons, one granddaughter, and twelve great-grandchildren who will really miss her.
