He is survived by his Father, Carl Franklin Brown, Jr., Mother Donna Varner Wood and his Step-Father Donnie Lee Wood. Chris is also survived by his brother, Kevan Robert Brown, Khoury Lee Wood and four sisters, Angel Beery, Erica Bridges, Morgan Morrison and Madison Hall, and his Grandmothers, Clara Geraldine Varner and Shirley Jacobs Wood, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his life partner, Kenneth Marshall Johnson, Jr., and his nephew Walker Waring Beery and his dog Taco.
Chris lived in Trinity as a young child and after high school moved to Charlotte to attend Central Piedmont Community College to pursue a degree in psychology.
In 1995 Chris met his life partner Kenneth Johnson, and the two were inseparable for almost 26 years. Chris died of medical complications from diabetes and a broken heart.
Chris was loved by all who knew him, but not more than his family.
Our hearts are broken and we miss his smile, quick wit and his amazing ability to always make you feel special.

A celebration of life for Christopher will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Spring Hill United Methodist, 240 Spring Hill Church Rd, High Point, NC 27262.
