David Earl Greene, 73 of Greensboro, NC passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. David was born in Chatham County, NC, on July 14, 1952, son of the late Ted and Lou Riddle Greene.
David was a strong Christian man, dependable and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, enjoyed playing golf with his brother, softball, fly-fishing and retired from NC Department of Transportation. He was a member of Vandalia Baptist Church of Greensboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Harold Greene.
He is survived by his wife Janet Greene, daughter Jennifer Greene (Stephen), son; John Greene (Carley) and brother Roger Greene (Bonnie).
