

Donnie “Craig” Shelley, age 60, of Thomasville, passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the Cancer Center at High Point Regional. Craig was born on March 3, 1952 to Earl Wayne Shelley and Pearlie Cox Shelley of Jamestown.
Craig was an avid drag racer in the 70’s and 80’s and loved riding motorcycles with friends. He worked as an auto mechanic for Simmons & Shelley.
Survivors include his wife Jean B. Shelley; two daughters, Marie Shelley and her husband Mark Townley of Holly Springs and Kerri Leonard and her husband Darrell of Thomasville; step-daughters, Stephanie Rodenhizer and her husband Joe, Lauren Duncan and Stephanie Stroud; step-son, Brandon Cox and his wife Kayla; three grandchildren, Blake, Mason and Morgan; step-grandchildren include, Kingston, Dustin and McKayla; brother, Larry Shelley and his wife Barabara and two nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00am in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Steve Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.
