Edith Louise (Creasey) Poole, 91, passed away Friday Nov. 13, 2015, in Chattanooga, TN. She was born Feb. 10, 1924, in High Point, NC, but had been a resident of Chattanooga, TN, since 1965. She was the daughter of Fred Creasey and Esther Dorsett Creasey. She was a graduate of the class of 1941 at Allen Jay High School.
She was the ex-wife of Herman E. Poole, also of High Point, NC, who predeceased her in 2012.
Edith is survived by her three children, Cynthia Poole Slack and husband Darrel, of Chattanooga, TN,
Vickie Poole Walters and husband Richard, of Lakeland, FL, Timothy E. Poole and wife Amanda, two step grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Matteson of Archdale, NC.
Visitation will be held at Sechrest Funeral Home, 6-8pm Thursday Nov. 19, 2015, Archdale, NC. A graveside service will be held Fri. Nov. 20, 2015, at 2pm at Ebenezer Chapel Cemetery, 2098 Ebenezer Church Rd., Archdale, NC.
