Gary Bryan Hartman

Gary B. Hartman, age 80, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 following several months of declining health.

Gary was born in Hampden County, MA, October 7, 1942, a son of the late Robert A. Hartman and Hazel Elizabeth Ghabour Hartman. He was an Army veteran, stationed in Germany following W.W. II. Gary loved to fish and hunt and was always the life of the party at family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his sons, RIchard Laytham and Daniel Laytham.

Surviving is his companion, Jennie Wall; a daughter, Cathy Moreland; four sons, Gary Hartman, Jr., Jerry Laytham, Ricky Laytham and Thomas Laytham; two sisters, B.B. Hartman and Joanne Comparin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date.
