Mr. George Blair Earhart, 47 passed away on August 22 at his home. Mr. Earhart was a local businessman and a life long resident of the Asbury community. Mr. Earhart is survived by his wife Irene Campbell Earhart, daughter Karen McClure and husband Ronald McClure of Langley, Virginia, daughter Rosalie Schaal and husband Randy Schaal of Waseca, Minnesota, daughter Sharon Kay Earhart of Johnson City and his son Jerry Douglas Earhart also of Johnson City. He is also survived by his five grandaughters Jennifer, Tara, Marie, Amber and Jessica. Mr. Earhart was preceded in death by his father George R. Earhart and his sister Lenora Earhart. He is also survived by his mother Mary Ruth Earhart, sisters Barbara Barnette and Rebecca Oakes, brothers Dean Earhart, Douglas Earhart and Wayne Earhart.
Mr. Earhart's family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Home on August 25 from 5pm until 7 pm and a memorial service will be held on August 26 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church at 2pm. Mr. Earhart will be laid to rest at Monte Vista Cemetery on August 26 following the memoriall service.
