Archdale - Glen Doyle Williams age 66 of Archdale, North Carolina. He passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Hospice of High Point. Glen was born on August 18, 1952, in Virginia to Everett and Geraldine Williams.
Glen loved his family. He worked hard all his life sometimes working three jobs. His last job was at Creative Metal and Wood in Thomasville. He was the Supervisor. Glen never met a stranger. He was loved by everyone he met.
Glen is survived by a wonderful wife Ruth Williams. He had two children. Eldest daughter Cynthia Ann Tate and his loving son Glen Dale Williams of the home. He has one granddaughter Amanda Louise Williams 17. He has two surviving sisters, Flora Fay Fogleman, and Wanda Sue Atkinson. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Glen Williams was preceded in death by both parents Everett and Geraldine Williams, Terry Dane Williams, Stella Sprouse and Micheal Williams.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2019, from 5-7 for family and friends. The service will be Monday, February 18, 2019, At Sechrest Funeral Home in Archdale, at 2 afterward, the family will proceed to Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville.
