

Glen was born in Chanute, Kansas on February 12, 1925 to the late Grant and Ethel Pendergraph Wilson. Glen was a veteran of the United States Navy and fought in World War II. He held a Doctorate in Religion and was a Minister. He was also an iron worker for 35 years and he retired from Wackenhut in 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trinity and he has resided in Sophia since 1981.
Surviving is his wife; Nancy Biles Wilson of the home, three daughters; Glenda Brown and husband Bob of Washington, Joyce Wilson of California and Jacquie Biles of Sophia, North Carolina, two sons; Rudy Wilson and wife Dollie of California and Scotty Atkins and wife Kim of Sanford, North Carolina, a special friend Daniel Rosado, fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren.
Glen was a loving husband, father and grandfather and most of all he loved the Lord. He told everyone that Nancy was the love of his life.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 on his 91st birthday at the First Baptist Church of Trinity, 12504 Trinity Road, Trinity, North Carolina with interment to follow at the Carolina Biblical Gardens, 5710 Riverdale Road, Jamestown, North Carolina.
