Arrangements Harry Drew Haney 84 passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Hospice Home in High Point. Born in High Point to the late Gilmore and Ruby Corn Haney, Harry lived his entire life in High Point. Harry was self-employed and was in the manufacturing business in which he made furniture frames. Harry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. He enjoyed his time on his farm, taking care of his cows and other animals.
Harry is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Pilson Haney, son William Mark Haney, sister Judy Holdaway and brother Donald Haney. Harry is survived by a daughter Susan Collins and husband Terry of High Point, sons James Deron Haney of High Point, Harry D. Haney Jr. and wife Yachio of Los Angeles, Ca., sister Ramona Hall and brother Michael Haney both of High Point. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 31, 2014, 2:00pm at Floral Gardens Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 6-8pm at Sechrest Funeral Service, 120 Trindale Road, Archdale, NC 27263.
