My special friendship with Jan began when we were neighbors in Archdale while we both were only five years old. Over the years we were classmates and later shared many outdoor adventures in Kansas and Wyoming. We discussed our past life many times during meetings together at our classmate Ellis' Whitt's home and we all agreed we were forgiven believers of Christ. So Jan's passing is not the end, it is only the beginning of eternal life for my great friend Jan Gray Hinshaw as a forgiven believer in Christ. John: chapter 11 - verses 25 & 26.
I will miss him greatly!

So sorry for the loss of your loved one. My dad William Ward and Jan were hunting buddies and friends for many years. I have many fond memories of growing up and Jan spending lots of time at our home. Thought I would share one of their hunting pics.

Sending our Deepest Sympathy to Jan’s family. May God surround you all with his precious peace, comfort and love at this time of grief. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Jan. He and I (Johnny) graduated together and were buddies in school. Since I live in Ga it is hard to stay in contact with my school friends, but I think of them all often. Jan and I shared many happy and fun times together and I will always cherish those memories. God Bless each of you and may all your sweet memories of Jan bring you sweet Peace as you hold him dear to your heart. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time of your great loss. ❤️🙏❤️

When I was about 5, (60 years ago) I went to spend the night at my sister Janie and Jan's duplex apartment. During the night I woke up in a strange place, was scared and crying. I still remember Jan coming in and comforting me until I stopped crying and could get back to sleep.
