She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Ivester, father, Hobert Worth Messick, husband, Roger Parrish Sr., and her eldest son, Dale Parrish.
She is survived by her son, Shane Parrish of Archdale, NC; daughter, Lisa Parrish of Thomasville, NC; sister, Dottie Rollins of Randleman, NC; her brother, Hobert Messick and wife Elsie of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Daughter-In-Law, Tracey Parrish of Greensboro, NC; her three grandchildren - Taylor Parrish of Greensboro, NC, Madison Parrish of Vero Beach, Florida, Spring Gray of Thomasville, NC; bonus daughter, Deborah Honeycutt of Trinity, NC; many beloved nieces and nephews as well as her cats Ferdinand & Isabella.
Jeannie Parrish was married to Roger Dale Parrish, Sr. for 65 years. She worked for many years at Milltowne Furniture and Hunter & Company in High Point. Later she and her husband owned and operated R&J Parrish Trucking for over 10 years. She loved camping with their camping club, which took them from the mountains to the beach. In her younger years, she loved dancing and was always the life of the party. She laughed at everything and always had a smile on her face. She loved lighthouses, coffee, wine, spending time with her friends and family, and was an avid lover of cats.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd, Randleman, NC 27317. The family will greet friends from 12-2pm prior to the service at the church.
