John was born October 27,1969 in Houghton County, Michigan, a son of Roger Paul and Sharon Lee Mattson Harry.
He loved to go camping with his son Brett. He was a jack of all trades. John was a craftsman, a master welder, and he enjoyed the outdoors. John loved to travel, especially the mountains. John had a very big heart and would help anyone. He spent quality time with his "grandchildren" and was an avid Harley Davidson fan.
He leaves behind his soulmate, Beth A. Hawley, his son, Brett Hokenson, his parents, Roger Paul and Sharon Lee, two brothers, Roger and David Harry, many other friends and family members, and his good friend Matt.
