Johnnie Edgar Blackburn, age 71 of Trinity, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012. Born in Hattisburg, MS to Wilton Edgar Blackburn and Mamie Sanders Blackburn, He worked for Marsh Cabinets as a molder operator.
Survivors of the home include his wife, Mabel Blackburn and grandson, Cameron Clark. Other survivors include daughter, Kimberly Oglesby of Springline, TX; son, Eddie Blackburn of Pecos, TX; step-daughter, Robin Bevans of Thomasville; step son Keith Winfree of Archdale; sisters, Ann Tyson and Betty Parker; brothers, Rev Bobby Blackburn, James Thomas Blackburn and Willis Carl Blackburn; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00pm in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale, burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm
