Kate Fern Parrish

Kate was born on December 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Byerly. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church, where she loved to attend. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and having fun in life. Kate loved her family and cherished her friends.

In addition to her parents, Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Parrish, as well as four brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Audie Parrish (Jill); daughters, Mareen McDowell, Carmen Simpson (Randy), Tonnie Johnson, and Robin King; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to The Graybrier and Hospice of the Piedmont for the wonderful care they provided during this time.

A visitation for Kate will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Archdale, 120 Trindale Rd, Archdale, North Carolina 27263, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point.
