Lavinia Kay Tysinger

Lavinia Kay Tysinger, age 78, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Hospice of Randolph.

Lavinia was born in Rowan County, NC, a daughter of the late Dee Cletus & Thelma Johnson Freeman of Gold Hill, NC. She was a retired LPN at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, NC. Lavinia was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing/quilting, cooking, gardening and canning. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buren J. Tysinger of Randleman, NC.

Lavinia is survived by 3 daughters: Dee Ann Vickers (Randall), Crystal Hutchison (Eric) and Rana Wilson (Butch); 8 grandchildren, Sam Vincent, Brooke Myers (Tyler), Michael Clark (Aimee), Savanah Reed, Megan Hutchison, Meredith Hutchison, Sarah McLane (Chris), Adam Wilson (Sabrina); 4 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Everleigh, Nixon and Wesley; 3 sisters: Catherine Cannon, Thelma Ann Thompson and Abby Gerardi, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like express their sincere thanks to Marie Trogdon and Teisha Crisco, and all the doctors, nurses, CNA's and staff at Hospice of Randolph for the loving care of our mother .

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 2pm-4pm EST at Advantage Funerals and Cremations, 120 Trindale Road, Archdale, NC 27263.
