January 30, 1962 – October 2, 2025
Mark Edward Cashman, 63, of Trinity, North Carolina, formerly of Maryland, passed away on October 2, 2025.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Cashman; his beloved children, Elizabeth Gray (Kevin), Kaitlin Jutras (Conrad), and LeChele Miller; and his cherished grandchildren, Isabella and Ben Gray, and Carson and Parker Jutras. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Vivian Slezak, his sisters, Bobbi Ammann and Lynn Cashman, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him with love. He was preceded in death by his father, John Slezak.
In his younger years, Mark proudly served as a member of the Allentown Road Volunteer Fire Department Station 47- Ft. Washington, MD in the 1980s. A Master HVAC technician for over 40 years, he was known for his skill, dedication, and willingness to help anyone in need. Outside of work, Mark was a licensed HAM radio operator who used his skills as a dispatcher for Randolph County CERT team. He also enjoyed tinkering with computers, and spending time with his family—including his beloved furry companions.
Mark was a man of simple joys. He especially looked forward to his daily coffee stops at Sheetz, where he often greeted familiar faces and shared friendly conversation before heading out for the day.
Those who knew Mark will remember his kindness, sharp wit, and steady presence. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and laughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In true Mark fashion, his request was to keep it simple and have no services. The family will honor that request.
“Signing off, N3NCN.”
