Mary was born July 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Johnathan William Morrison and Mattie Elizabeth Hinkle. She loved serving at Welch Memorial United Methodist Church. Her hobbies were cooking, caring for her many plants and visiting with family and friends. Mary also loved her Alderman Studio’s family, whom she worked for over 47 years.
Preceded in Mary’s death is her son, Michael Hawk, three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are Mary’s three daughters, Susan Lowe, Katherine Hawk and Janet McDowell (Mark), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont.
The family is under the care of Advantage Funerals and Cremations.
