Shirleen Michelle Stoots, 66, a resident of Asheboro passed away at Moses H. Cone Hospital on Saturday August 16, 2025. She was born June 17, 1959, in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Baxter Milton Anthony, Jr. and Doris Leigh Brown.
Michelle worked with several local companies, including Carson’s Furniture and Ikon Office Solutions.
She was married to Gary “Radar” Stoots who preceded her in death on September 8, 2021.
Michelle is survived by her daughter, Shannon Stoots of Thomasville; her brother, Michael Anthony and his wife Bonnie of Walnut Cove and three grandchildren, Emanuel Briceno, Isaiah Briceno and Hannah Briceno.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday August 21, 2025, at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel 6000 West Gate City Blvd. Greensboro, NC 27407 conducted by the Reverend Randall Collins. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
