Porchia E. Loggins passed on June 14, 2026, at the age of 69.
Porchia was born December 22, 1956, in Guilford County, a daughter of the late Clarence Comer and Lucille Key Shaw. She was a CNA, working at area hospitals prior to her retirement. Porchia enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard and coloring. She was a member of Full Gospel Church. Porchia was preceded in death by her husband, Jaret Loggins and her brother, Ray Comer.
Surviving are two sons, Carl Loggins (Bridgett) and Shane Eller (Sayword); two brothers, Farrell Comer and Ricky Comer; six grandchildren, Miranda Hawley, Kalla Bryan, Stephanie Eller, Natalie Snipes, Ares Eller and Joshua Loggins; seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Porchia's life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude.
